Job Description:
Part-time Tobacco Prevention Coordinator at The Collaborative based in Manchester and Londonderry. Work within an established substance abuse prevention coalition to educate all community groups about tobacco use prevention and cessation. Be responsible for grant implementation and reporting, engaging diverse community groups including businesses, area schools, individuals, health care professionals and others in the effort to reduce tobacco consumption in our community.
Qualifications:
Position requires:
Commitment to public health, ability to be part of a team, produce quality products without constant supervision, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of producing results, a nonsmoker, and excellent computer skills. Positions also requires ability to travel to meet area partners and attend trainings, public speaking, event management and community organizing.
Be part of a public health movement to help people become smoke free and prevent young people from starting.
